Raquel Aguilar

Family

Raquel is the youngest of three Children and was born in Oxnard, CA. She grew up in a small agricultural town located in Fillmore, CA. Her strong heritage originates from Jalisco, Mexico. Her grandmother, on her mother's side is the oldest of 21 children. Twenty-one children was vital for her family's ranch and for the upkeep of their farm and farm animals. It was there in Mexico where Raquel's grandmother began her family of 8 and gave girth to Raquel's mother. Raquel's mother, Dionicia Aguilar, immigrated to the United States when she was only 8 years of age. It was then at the age of 16 where Dionicia moved to Fillmore, CA and met Raquel's father for the very first time.

Interestingly enough, Raquel's grandmother on her father's side also immigrated from Jalisco, Mexico at a very young age. The grandmother came from a large family with 7 other siblings. However, it was in the United States where she began her small family. Raquel's father, Gamaliel, was an only child and was raised in Fillmore, CA where he has spent the majority of his life.

Informing you all about Raquel means inviting you all into her family. She is family oriented and has been fortunate enough to have been granted a generous family that is loving, supporting, and ever-growing. Pictured below from left to right is Raquel's immediate family, including her sister-in-law. The second picture below is only a few of Raquel's first cousins. In the third picture is Raquel's nieces and one nephew granted by her brother. The far right picture is Raquel's sister, her grandmother from her mother's side, and Raquel herself.
